🍁 Northern Expat

A closer look

The top of your profile is a live comic panel: a Dutch street with canal houses, seen from your window, with a caption box (Friday afternoon...) and speech bubbles. A dog does his round, cars and bikes pass by, and the scene follows the time of day and the season. Below it, your bio is a speech bubble in an About me panel, your stats are coloured boxes, Journey covers are framed like comic panels with caption tabs, and the page ends with To be continued...

Made for

• Comic artists and storytellers
• Expats and travellers
• Anyone with a story to draw

It goes everywhere you go

A theme isn't just your profile background. Your Journeys show up in the Northern Expat style in other people's Feed and in Explore too, so everything you post carries your look.

Tips for your photos

Northern Expat suits stories told in parts: a move abroad, a renovation, learning a language, a comic you're drawing. Post one moment per Chapter and the Journey reads like a comic strip. Illustrations, sketches and bright everyday photos look great in the inked frames.
