Delete your account or data

This page explains how to delete your NovaPod account (the app by NovaPod, package app.novapod on Google Play and NovaPod on the App Store), or only some of your data, and what happens to it.

Delete your whole account in the app

1. Open NovaPod and go to your Profile.
2. Tap Settings (the gear icon) › Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away and can't be restored.

No longer have the app?

Email support@novapod.app from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my NovaPod account" and your nickname. We confirm the request with you and delete the account within 30 days.

Delete only some of your data

You don't have to delete your account to remove things. In the app you can delete, at any time:

• single Chapters or whole Journeys, with their photos and videos
• your comments
• chats, including the photos, videos and voice messages in them
• your profile photo, bio and interests

For anything else (for example a copy of your data, or removing something you can't delete yourself), email support@novapod.app.

What is deleted, and what is kept

• Deleted: your profile, email address, password, Journeys, Chapters, photos, videos, comments, likes, follows, chats and notifications.
• Kept for a limited time: encrypted backups are purged on a rolling schedule, within 30 days. We may keep limited records where the law requires it (for example reports of abuse), and crash reports that don't identify you.
